I have spent the last several weeks getting the parts to make my Hackintosh along with research my install. I have gathered my parts which are:

Asus P5W-DH Delus

Intel Q6600 Core 2 Quad

8 gigs of RAM

500gig WD Sata hard drive

Nvidia 8800 GT video card

For the install process I made sure my bios is up-to-date, and tweaked it according the the guide on Lifehacker. I used the two guides on the OSx86 wiki along with another that I found on the net. I tried the install using Ideneb 1.4 first and as soon as OS X tried to fire up after the install it would just reboot going into an endless reboot. I then changed to iPC 10.5.6 and followed a couple guides with that, instead of just auto rebooting like the other times it instead just told me I needed to reboot the sytem every time it trys to load.

The only strange thing I did to the PC was overclock the CPU a bit, I am not sure how OSX likes that. My question is am I missing a step, is there some patch I need to apply before I fire up the OS for the first time? I am very eager to get this system working. If anyone has any feedbak I would greatly appreciate it! I will post any additional information as needed.
