nunocubal Posted March 30, 2009 Share Posted March 30, 2009 hello i've been reading a lot about this but i can't find a way to get the 5.1 sound. i have instaled the ipc 10.5.6 on my fatal1ty fi90 with realteck onboard audio alc888. when i installed the os i selected the alc888 driver and the sound was good but stereo. in audio menu i created a neu device but in the muiltychanel i can only select stereo. i have 4 in and 2 outs.i've tryed the alc888audio.mpkg but nothing changed. what can i do? i have another problem...i can get front row to work (i'm using a lcd as pc monitor) my graphic card is x1650 pro 512 i installed the driver and i got kernel panic (i think) on start up a grey text came out saying that i needed to reboot. thanks a lot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/159780-alc888-onboard-audio-only-work-in-stereo/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
