shinew Posted March 29, 2009 Share Posted March 29, 2009 Hello, i just installed 10.5.6 on my newly built quad-core pc with 8GB of 1066 DDR2 memory. I was amazed that everything worked pretty much flawlessly, from sound to dual dislpay to hibernate/sleep etc... However, I just noticed that in the "system profiler" it says that my system's memory speed is "800 MHz". I'm using 1066 DDR2 ram and I've set this manually in the bio with 5-5-5-15 timing & run memtest without any errors, so the RAM shouldn't be the problem.
