Zanneth
Just recently, I've been experiencing this immensely frustrating problem where my system would completely lock up for less than a second, causing graphics and even the cursor to have laggy performance. Even though this is only less than a second, it's incredibly annoying and seems to happen at the worst possible times! I eventually discovered that this only seems to happen when iTunes is open. It is most noticeable right after I launch iTunes (while the icon is bouncing in the dock), and happens in random intervals after that. I've tried reinstalling and deleting my preferences. I've also tried multiple different kinds of mice, and the issue persists. It doesn't appear to be a graphics problem because this problem occurs on multiple types of drivers and it also only started doing this recently. Thanks for your help!
