rash219
I have been running around to perfect the hackintosh install on my PC using one of my backup drives as a guinea pig for the past few days. And slowly and steadily I have been comming closer to that point. I managed to fix the kernel panic error at boot, dmg mounting error, audio error, lan error, display resolution error, and screen saver error. Ofcourse all thanks to everyone in this forum I was able to fix it. Now I only (hopefuly only) have the sleep error. The situation is when I let my PC to sleep it does everything by the book BUT when I try to wake it up my monitor wont turn on at all. The last time it did that my hard drive went beserk but thats for another topic. Inorder for my OSx to fall a sleep I installed the following files. AppleUSBEHCI328.kext AppleUSBOHCI328.kext AppleUSBUHCI328.kext IOPCIFamily254.kext IOUSBMassStorageClass205.kext EHCISleepEnabler.kext -----from Lazy.zip I installed all these files using "Universal Installer OSx86" since I did not know how to use the terminal to get the code going. Now if my suspicions are right I am guessing one of the above mentioned files could cause the error but I am not sure which and how to unistall/remove them. So PLEASE HELP ME....THANKSS!!!! rash219
I have still been searching for this problem and all I could find were Paulis' Sleep Kernel. But no link to download them so could anyone point me out to it. The iPC DVD has 9.2.0 netkas Sleep Kernel and 9.3.0 Sleep Kernel not sure if they are the same thing. rash219
OK just did a fast sweep and install and found out that none of the above files mentioned remotely helped in the process of sleeping it was all done by choosing the right video driver. but the problem still exist. also used the 9.2.0 netkas Sleep Kernel and it was a no go. So not sure what is going on. Like I said earlier the PC will fall asleep like normal but wont wake up properly. Its like half asleep.....the fans, graphics , and hard drive all turn on...yet the power led blink as if in sleep state. Any tips or trick would be very helpful..... THANKS!!!
