Crazy Crisco Posted March 27, 2009 Share Posted March 27, 2009 Yah! My first post lol. Okay anyway, here is my problem (sorry if this is the wrong section). The computer I am using is a Compaq SR1503wm. The video card I am using is a BFG Nvidia GeForce 6200 OC. I have had JaS 10.4.8 installed recently for a while and it works great. I tried to install a copy of ToH 10.5 and it installed perfect. It didn't have any graphics drivers with it so I put in my JaS DVD and installed the NV40 driver. After I restarted my computer everything was good until I open up Safari or Firefox. It is fine for just a second and then it freezes and I have to shut it off and start it again. I'm not 100% the safari thing worked before I installed NV40. Does anyone else know how to fix this or even heard of it? I checked http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...10.5.0/Desktops and it says that the SR5013WM which is I guess a model newer than the one I have has everything working except for networking which is an easy fix. Does anyone know another version of 10.5.0 besides ToH I could get? Sorry for typing so much, I have been up all day working on this but no luck. Crazy Crisco Posted March 27, 2009 Author Share Posted March 27, 2009 Intel Celeron D 340 Processor at 2.93GHz MOBO - ASUS P4GV-LA 768MB DDR RAM 80GB Hitachi Hard Drive 80GB Western Digital Hard Drive BFG Nvidia GeForce 6200 OC 256 MB Onboard 10/100 NIC Card 56k Modem I installed another NIC it's a D-Link DFE-530TX+ and that didn't seem to help. It seems to start freezing up after I install any kind of graphics driver. I've tried NV40 and the Nvinject 256. Whenever I boot into Safe Boot mode(I'm in right now), it doesn't freeze. After I install the graphics driver, it only freezes when I open up an internet browser.
