xxfury2xx
Well, I finally made the plunge and got an Apple computer. I got myself the new 24" imac, and the screen is massive. It's much bigger than I had expected. I just got it delivered by FedEx today. There is just one problem. I turned it on and noticed some dirt (or something) on the screen. I immediately took out the little black towel that came with the computer to clean it off, except nothing happened. It's pretty apparent that whatever it is, it's stuck between the glass and the lcd. Anybody know what it might be, and how I might take care of it? It's pretty frustrating to have dropped so much cash and already have a problem right out of the box. Thanks for any help. nebulOSX
I would take it to your nearest Apple Store, it obviously shouldn't be like that. Alternatively, if you want to do it yourself or if your not near an Apple store, iFixit have a tutorial on how to take an iMac apart, the glass on top of the LCD is attached by magnets if I remember correctly, they pulled it off with a suction pad..
