boris005 Posted April 24, 2006 Share Posted April 24, 2006 Hi everyone ! I'm a Mac's Fan, but no so wealthy to buy one... In so far as, I tried to put Mac OS X 1.4.6 with this ISO: "10.4.6.install.dvd.iso" (seems prepatched). I already created partition with Partition Magic, used the CMD, and created Chain0. But, when i Boot on the DVD, I received an error message: System Config File "/com.apple.Boot.plist" Not Found I searched on many forums, but no one tells how to fix it. Here is my hardware: Acer Aspire 9502WSMi 1GB of RAM DDR2 Intel Pentium 740 @ 1.73gHz Radeon X700 PCI Mobility 80Gb of HDD Thanks everybody ! gavinlynch Posted April 24, 2006 Share Posted April 24, 2006 Most likely your dvd+_rw drive cant boot the install dvd properly .This has happenened many times before.You will need an external dvd drive (usb 2.0) Then set bios to boot from this device with the install disk in of course. abrls Posted April 25, 2006 Share Posted April 25, 2006 I think MA{censored}A DVDRW+RAM drive has problem in booting the installation DVD. Are you using the Ma{censored}a drive?
