Anjo
I managed to install iDeneb 1.5 on a P5NSLI Asus mobo with a SATA HD, PATA DVD, nVidia 1GB and a Pentium 4 3.5 GHz with 8 GB RAM. To install I had to disable USB, serial and parallel ports and ethernet. After installation I flagged the partition as bootable and everything seemed OK. But when starting from the HD the Darwin bootloader, whichever options I choose, will restart the computer and I have no clue why it keeps restarting, since I am not able to see any message on the console. I searched the forum but was not able to find a similar post. Any help will be very welcomed. Searay_X
In my experience this has usually been a kernel issue... You should try a different kernel. Did you select a kernel during install? If not, the Vanilla would have been installed - try Voodoo or the one mentioned in this thread Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/159200-after-install-bootloader-keeps-restarting-my-computer/#findComment-1115832 Share on other sites
