I am trying to install osx86 on my system and obviously i have ran into some problems. first of all i'd like to let you know this is the first time i am trying to install osx86 so you can label me as a noob. My configuration is: p5e-ws-pro q6600 quad 8gb mushkin 800mhz nvidia 9600 gt (BFG if that matters) 3 hdd (SATA port 1, 5, 6) 250, 500, 500 gb. (all western digital) LG DVDRW ide iDeneb 1.4 I did a lot of researching before posting and i couldn't find anything t get me past the point where i am stuck now. At first i got the classic "crossed out circle" on the boot screen. Booted with " -v " and saw that the loader got stuck at: " ERROR: FIREWIRE unable to determine security mode - switching to full secure mode ". Disabled FIREWIRE in bios, set SATA to AHCI mode. Rebooted, now getting "Still waiting for root device" loop. Help please!
