Hello,

I'm thinking to buy a new pc, one of the OS's is going to be Mac OS X.

For now Leopard but i don't wanna mis Snow Leopard.

The hardware I'm thinking of:

Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core E5200

GigaByte GA-G31M-ES2L

Zotac GF9800GT AMP!

Hitachi HDT721075SLA380

Samsung SH-S223F

Kingston HyperX 4 GB DDR2-1066 Kit

Will this run properly ?

Is this common hardware?(I mean when Snow Leopard is released, don't i have to wait for 10 years for I can run it?)

Any suggestions in this price range?

Thanks for helping this n00bzor!

Good choice, but I think the G31M-ES2L only supports up to 800MHz RAM! I'm using a similar setup, done a 100% vanilla retail installation thats running great.

Yes i know but it didn't cost that much more :D

After some comments of other folks i think i'm going buy this:

Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core E5200

GigaByte GA-G31M-ES2L

Zotac GF9800GT Synergy

Western Digital WD5000AAKS

Samsung SH-S223F

GeiL 4 GB DDR2-800 Kit

Sharkoon SHA550-12A

As I have been researching hardware for my hackintoch.. I have been noticing alot of ppl using Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core.. I was thinking of using a Core 2 Duo... Are Core 2 Duo not working well with hackintochs or is it just a price reason.. ?

For me it's just a price reason...

I think (after some google Core 2 Duo will just work as good :P )

That was what I was hoping it is.. .

Question.. have you heard or see in this motherboard that you might think is a problem?

-GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R
