hackintastic
Hello, I'm thinking to buy a new pc, one of the OS's is going to be Mac OS X. For now Leopard but i don't wanna mis Snow Leopard. The hardware I'm thinking of: Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core E5200 GigaByte GA-G31M-ES2L Zotac GF9800GT AMP! Hitachi HDT721075SLA380 Samsung SH-S223F Kingston HyperX 4 GB DDR2-1066 Kit Will this run properly ? Is this common hardware?(I mean when Snow Leopard is released, don't i have to wait for 10 years for I can run it?) Any suggestions in this price range? Thanks for helping this n00bzor! r8f5e7
Good choice, but I think the G31M-ES2L only supports up to 800MHz RAM! I'm using a similar setup, done a 100% vanilla retail installation thats running great. I was thinking of using a Core 2 Duo... Are Core 2 Duo not working well with hackintochs or is it just a price reason.. ?
