MisaMilosevic
I have installed iDeneb 1.4 several times, every time with the same options and my computer would always appear as P5K under Model name in System Profiler and shutdown would never work, whichever fix I chose. This time I think I did select something under SMBIOS which I hadn't done before, therefore making the OSX think my computer is a MacBook and surprisingly, shutdown works big time! . Which installation option determines how will the OS X recognize your computer in System Profiler? Installation options: Additional fonts ICHx and JMicron Fix OpenHaltRestart SMBIOS (unsure about this one, I think I clicked something here which made the whole difference) Attansic L1 ATI Radeon HD2600 Pro PCIE All applications My hardware: P5K BIOS 1201 Intel Dual Pentium 2GHz E2180 ATI Radeon HD Pro PCIE Kingston 4 x 1GB DDR2 667 MHz 2 x SATA/II 320 GB Pioneer D112 IDE Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/158821-p5k-shutdownrestart-solved/ Share on other sites
