Guest cookiez Posted March 23, 2009 Share Posted March 23, 2009 I have an Asus P4C800-E mobo with integrated Intel Gigabit LAN 82547EI. Using IONetworkfamily.kext the adapter detected as en0. In Network preferences Cable Unplugged message can be read. I was able to fix the ethernet by modifying the AppleIntel8255x.kext (added the vendor ID ect.) If you dont know how to modify it, in the attachment is my modified kext. Install the kext by using Kext Helper for example.
