Problem with installing.

Hi, I'm new so if I say thing wrong don't sass me.

Anyhows,

I'm trying to install iatkos 4i on vmware 6.

And when I am booting, it gets to the actual operating system, but it only has the bubble wallpaper and the rainbow pinwheel cursor. When I boot from the CD to my actual computer, it gets past this. What my problem is, is that when I'm booting in VMware, the CD drive works perfectly, but when I get to where I said before, the CD drive, shuts off in a way. It does it with the ISO as well. Is there a way around this?

I dont know much about my computer, but I know these things:

Toshiba Portege M700 Tablet

2gb ram
