Using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers, It just stops there when I try to boot (That's just after finishing the install)

Hey everybody!

 

I have this problem, when I boot after I installed Leopard, it's just stop with this...

 

Mac framework successfully initialized

From what I am reading out of my manual this is what my computer has:

 

CPU: LGA775 socket for Intel Core 2 Quad

 

Chipset: Intel P43 / ICH10 with Intel Fast Memory Access Technology

 

System Bus: 1600(0.C.)*/1333/1066/800 MHz

 

Memory: Dual-channel memory architecture - 4 x 240-pin DIMM sockets support unbuffered non-ECC DDR2 1066/800/667MHz memory modules. - Supports up to 16GB system memory. *Refer to www...... or this user manul for the memory QVL. (!!I am running 4 GIG!!)

I think there might be abit to much info there but I really do hope you can help it's taken me long to write this out.

It's a well known error!!

search Google: "Using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 insanelymac" it will give you the answer!!

I do have the same problem with ideneb 10.5.6, acpi fix does not change anything, i searched on google and i didn't find anything which works

 

Please someone can explain how to fix this problem

 

Mobo : Asus P5Q

RAM : 4Gb pc8500

CPU : e8400 @ 4,4Ghz

GPU : HD3870

HDD : Seagate baracuda 500 GB 32 Mo cache

Both of you, PLEASE search first.

 

I recommend iATKOS; select the "APIC Driver." Also, you didn't actually say WHAT board you have, only outlined it's features.
