Hi there! And thanks for reading this.

First of all I post my rig:

Motherboard: ASUS P5N-E SLI (650i)

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 GHz

Memory: 4 GB of total (3x1GB Kingston, 1x1GB Samsung)

Hard drive: Maxtor SATA 160 GB

So far I have downloaded and successfully installed both iDeneb v1.3 and iATKOS v5. Installations ran without errors at all, everything was just fine - but they wont boot up to OS X.

iDeneb booted up to a loading screen, loaded it for awhile and then gave a message to reboot the computer.

iATKOS posts the bootloader but won´t even give me the loading screen - wheter I´m using -v, -v -f cpus=1 methods or not - but posts some info and reboots itself time after time.

So - what to do?

I read this guide for iATKOS: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=83092 but it´s for the older version and doesn´t match in every setting.

I am pretty clueless right now and hope you can help me with this one!

Thanks a lot!

Cheers

Check out my Pre-Series 7 nForce chipset MOBO thread and my blog install guides...... :D

Initially, read post #1 in the thread.......and install without video, network and audio drivers selected from the Install DVD Customize menu.......concentrate on getting the basic OS X system running, as the correct video, network and audio drivers can be installed afterwards.......
