gmacman
In searching for a fix for CFGetHostUUIDString/Error 35 thing, I've found a kext solution that was done back in November 2007. However I'm running 10.5.6 (retail install). My question is how dangerous is it to try one of these older kexts? I do clone backups with SuperDuper so I can get back as needed. But I'm just curious if when I find a solution like this is it advisable to steer clear or give it a shot? Obviously I'm a noob to the extreme, sorry.
