JEB101 Posted March 20, 2009 Share Posted March 20, 2009 First post, lets hope I do this right First I'll give you my setup Asus P5E Mobo (X38 Chipset) QX6850 CPU 8GB OCZ 1066 ram 8800GT OC2 500GB Seagate install drive I installed iDeneb 1.4 (10.5.6) without a hitch, 20 minutes it was on without an issue, then when the computer boots, it will go to the loading screen witht he apple and spinning logo. Screen goes blank, and looks like both monitors are in standby mode. I am new at this, installed stock options really, but still doing some reasearch as I go.. From what I understand Vanilla works with my chipset but only to version 9.2 but 9.6 will hang. Would the Voodoo kernel work better for me? or any more suggestions?
