My problem occurs when I run the Kalyway DVD, the system hangs after displaying a few lines of text. The last line of text displayed is... local apic version not 0x14 as expected I did some reading and found that hitting f8 and entering -x gets me a little bit further but it still hangs, the last line displayed is... IOAPIC: Version 0x21 Vectors 0:23 I did some further reading and found that entering io=0x21 –v –x gets me alot further but it still hangs and the last line displayed is... AppleACPIEventController::attach(AppleACPIPlatformExpert) I have done even more reading on the net but I cannot find any way to get past this problem. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!
