I saw there were pcie power connectors but i honostly could not figure out of my pcie 2.0 needed a seperate power connector in. Please let me know, and if there is a power connection on the pcie 2.0 how many pins will it be and where would it most likely be on the graphics card? the graphics card works, but This is with no osx or graphics acceleration I just don't want to install the drivers tomorrow wondering why my card isnt working. The connectors for pci-e 1 and 2 are identical (takes a 6 pin plug) if there is one or two of them on your card you should connect the plug(s) from your power supply into it/them. It could have although most times if it is there then it would be connected to a fan. What is your card make/model number anyways? projekt k Posted March 19, 2009 Author Share Posted March 19, 2009 PNY VCG95512GXEB GeForce 9500 GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail so i read the instruction booklet and all i really noticed was it told me to make sure my card didnt need the 6 pin connector. I am going to google power requirements on this card right now but please let me know. if you look at the new egg pic of the product you can see a white connector by the SLI connection up top.
