ca-uk
I've been reading about DSDT patching and wondered whether it would be possible to implement the equivalent of the IBM ACPI project using DSDT patching alone? http://ibm-acpi.sourceforge.net/README This would, amongst other things, allow me to turn my bluetooth on/off (at the moment it's not recognised because it's switched to off, but i cannot switch it on without a working windows install.) I see people have achieved something along these lines for the Asus netbook.. Am i barking up the wrong tree? Does anybody smarter than me want to help? It looks like the new Bioses in thinkpads have turned bluetooth off by default at startup. I have a Thinkpad X60 model 1708, and currently the only way i can enable Bluetooth , is pressing Fn + F5 at chameleon startup. Hope this work for you. Im also looking forward to check if using DSDT , we an be able to turn on bluetooth during startup. here is a link of the guide i have used to work on DST. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=211705&pid=1442565&mode=threaded&start=#entry1442565 Chovija..!
