Nearly there with build, confused re Graphic Card, Any Advice?

I've been researching and browsing for a few weeks and have come up with the following for my first hackintosh:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P

Processor: Q9400 quad core

Ram: 4gb corsair DDR2 800mhz

Cooler:Arctic cooling freezer pro

HD:WD 320gb SataII 16mb + WD 640gb sataII 16mb

Case: Antec Sonata III with 500w earthwatts psu

All I have left to order is the graphics card, and I'm confused as to what one to get! :wallbash:

Ideally I want something that will be as straightforward as possible to get up and working properly.

I will mainly be using it for Photoshop and video editing (and the odd game perhaps!)

The 8800gt sounds like it could be good, but does it matter what brand it is? (Xfx, Asus etc). A lot of boards I seem to find aren't listed in the wiki. Will an 8600 be ok, and again do I need to look for certain brands?

Or should I go for a 9 series?

I'm pretty confused, and would really appreciated some advice, so based on my build and use, what would you suggest?

I'm in the UK (everything is a lot deared than the US here!). My budget is up to £80-100 maximum

Any advice gratefully received.

ATI 2400, 2600, 3650, 4850, 4870 all work

nVidia 8400, 8600, 8800,9400, 9500, 9600, 9800 all work.

Some of the 8400s are tricky at best (I have one of them.. :) ) I begin to think Number is not enough info and that manuf/model are needed info.
