Sim
I installed 10.4.6 and my resolution is correct (1024x768) but the color depth is 32bit (while in windows it's just 16/24 bit). Don't know if it made my system a lil bit slow responsive (besides the fact that my card - radeon mobile 7500 is not supported and use vesa instead). So, i want to change the colour depth to 24 bit, but cannot find any way, did some search also Could somebody help me ? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15803-how-to-change-the-color-depth/ Share on other sites
Doomstalk
Edit /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com/apple.Boot.plist (preferably in the terminal as a super user) and add the following lines: <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1024x768x24</string> Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15803-how-to-change-the-color-depth/#findComment-101503 Share on other sites
