vrenlos
Hi all, I'm running: Gigabyte ga-p35-ds3l (P35+ICH9) q6600 @ 3.0GHz 6gb ddr2 1066 Powercolor ATI radeon x1950 pro I just recently installed iPC 10.5.6, and decided to try and get my graphics drivers working again, as they had worked flawlessly in 10.5.2-3, though I didn't remember what I had done to get them set. I found the Bronya post again and installed the 10.5.6 drivers at the end of the thread, and everything looked great, hardware acceleration turned on, perfect. I reboot once, and everything is still peachy. Install some security updates, restart again...black screen. Even -f booting doesn't bring it back. It'll work if I reinstall the kexts again in safe mode, but again after 1 reboot they disappear. Any ideas? Thanks! vrenlos
one more bump...any ideas what would cause the drivers not to "stick"? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/157944-video-card-issues-in-ipc-1056/#findComment-1110787 Share on other sites
inqui
I'm having the same issue. Max 4th restart and it works. Sometimes when I push power off and not restart, and then power on system boots correctly. Also looking for solution. Seems like card isn't initialized properly.
