vrenlos Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 Hi all, I'm running: Gigabyte ga-p35-ds3l (P35+ICH9) q6600 @ 3.0GHz 6gb ddr2 1066 Powercolor ATI radeon x1950 pro I just recently installed iPC 10.5.6, and decided to try and get my graphics drivers working again, as they had worked flawlessly in 10.5.2-3, though I didn't remember what I had done to get them set. I found the Bronya post again and installed the 10.5.6 drivers at the end of the thread, and everything looked great, hardware acceleration turned on, perfect. I reboot once, and everything is still peachy. Install some security updates, restart again...black screen. Even -f booting doesn't bring it back. It'll work if I reinstall the kexts again in safe mode, but again after 1 reboot they disappear. Any ideas? Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

inqui Posted April 14, 2009 Share Posted April 14, 2009 I'm having the same issue. Max 4th restart and it works. Sometimes when I push power off and not restart, and then power on system boots correctly. Also looking for solution. Seems like card isn't initialized properly.
