vultron
Topic says it all. Hope this is helpful to someone. Feel free to correct me on anything or ask questions. Update 3/17/2009 -After much headache and research, I learned that your seatbelt.kext needs to match your kernel version. For the purposes of this guide, that means you don't need the fix. -If you are using the SATA controller on the motherboard, make sure you have AHCI enabled in the BIOS. Go here for other recommended BIOS settings. -Vanilla kernel works. Use Shutdown/Restart Fix. plonka2000
Hi are you running your SATA drive in IDE, AHCI or RAID mode? vrenlos
Just as a note, I have the same board but had to use the Voodoo 9.5 kernel - shut down and restart wouldn't work with the vanilla. Alby128
I had to select the "SATA Drive Icon Fix (new)" too, to fix the internal drives icon issue. Doug the Impaler
Just a question - on this board why aren't you doing a vanilla install? The Gigabyte boards are so well-supported on these boards with boot-132 CDs that just do everything, it seems silly to do anything less. I've already installed a vanilla 10.5.4, now I'm only testing the iPC on my configuration...
