Everything seems smooth, and I'm not getting any random freezes or anything, however it will only let me use 1024*768. I'd like to use my normal rez of 1280*960.

Intel P4 2.8Ghz

2GB Ram

ATI X1650 Pro 512MB AGP

I've searched and read the posts around here for that card, and tried some of the things listed only to crash my system to the point of needing a reinstall.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks so much

Yeah DJ24966 my it's the same problem... the screen turns into blue, and never come back to normal, needing to reinstall all over.

I tried to change some Video driver's... but nothing.

I'm looking for the answer too.

But nobody seems to know how to help.

... :)

This was in the wrong section probably, I just posted over in the graphics section.

You shouldn't need to reinstall all over. During boot type.

-s for single user mode

When root is displayed type

mount -uw/

then

/movevideodrivers
