Thanks in advance,

Allen

Thats a solid looking build.

The e5200 is a monster of a cpu for the price. Especially considering its a great overclocker that runs relatively cool.

Throw on a better aftermarket cpu heatsink/fan and you should be able to get 3.5 GHz or higher out of it. With the stock Intel cooler, I was comfortably able to run it at 3 GHz.

The only thing in that build that concerns me, now that I think about it, is the case.

Might I suggest something a little nicer, for a little more money:

Cooler Master Elite 330 - $55

For less than $15 more, you have a case with far more expansion ability, and far better cooling. It has a 120mm exhaust fan in the rear and a place in the front for a optional 120mm intake cooling fan. Plus it includes a good quality psu stock.

I am using the same case (well, the Elite 331 - same case, different front bezel) with the stock 350 watt psu powering my server that runs Windows Home server on it. I used that case and psu to power the hardware in my sig for my Mac clone until I bought the Antec 900. So I know its good stuff for a reasonable build.

Oh yeah, I read that thread at least 5 times last night. :) I'm going to use it again during installation; post your experience so I have more reference material. :)

My least confident choices were:

DVD - was the LG one okay? I know most people seem to grab the lite-on ones...

Video - I know that the 7 series usually does well, but I couldn't find good information on whether the board manufacturer mattered much
