Hello
Hello, i'm trying to install Mac OS X 10.4.5 (the Myz DVD) on my HP ZV5000 laptop (exactly it's the zv 5452ea). The specifications are the following: AMD 3000+ SSE2 512 MB of RAM GeForce4go 64MB chipset i think nForce3 but I'm not sure The problem is that even during the installation, if I press something on my keyboard, both the touchpad and keyboard freeze. If I just use the touchpad it's all ok, till i press the keyboard. The trouble happens both when Mac OS is installed, or during the process of installation. I tried the following: -Every parallel port mode (the touchpad works only with the port deactivated, in the other cases it will not respond) -Installing it by using an USB mouse. In this case, the mouse works, but the keyboard stops working after the first time i press on it. Note: after installing Mac OS using the USB mouse, i reached a part when i need to use the keyboard (user names for example). The audio was working (lol it's 4AM here, and the movie+music started with the max volume) -Everything works using VMWare from windows, but sooooo slow well, i hope i wrote evreything you need, and i pray that you can help me sorry for my bad english, if you need some explanations about the installation just ask Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15779-keyboard-touchpad-problem-with-hp-laptop/ Share on other sites

Hello
i'm sorry but i don't think so.. before posting, i tried to search. A lot of people has both keyboard and mouse not working, which means they don't work at all. My problem is that they don't work after the first time i press the keyboard.. Maybe I searched wrong, but i really didn't find a problem like mine.. Or maybe I search the wrong thing.. If you find it, could you please post a link to a discussion with a problem like mine? thanks a lot for responding By the way, I'm downloading the HOTiSO image, soon I will try to install that version Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15779-keyboard-touchpad-problem-with-hp-laptop/#findComment-102562 Share on other sites
