Ok, so Ive tried various install dvds such as Leo4All 10.5.2 and V3, Zephyroth 10.5.2., Kalyway 10.5.2, and JaS 10.5.4. Everytime i try booting, a bunch of code runs down the screen, and then it freezes after it says this:

"IOAPIC: Version 0x21 Vectors 0:23"

or

"IOAPIC: Version 0x21 Vectors 64:87" (in the case of the Zephyroth dvd)

Probably like 10 or 20 lines above it, it says the following:

"Local APIC Not Version 0x14 as expected"

It also says something like this:

"ACPI_SMC_Platform_Plugin has immediate dependencies on..."

and then it lists two file names like something.apple.kmi blah blah blah and it says something about choosing one of them....

I have other install dvds too but not for an AMD comp like mine (Toshiba Satellite L335D-S7813) which has Turion64 X2 processors Im running Windows 7 on it right now, and i would consider wiping everything if I could get Mac OS X fully working. My other option would be to install onto an external drive via usb so i could just boot into it when i wanna use garageband or something. Now, I also have a JaS 10.4.8 AMD/Intel dvd that WILL boot up, however, it doesnt see my drive and usb doesnt work (mouse OR external drive) Same deal with my Uphuck 10.4.9 v.13.cdr DVD...it will boot up, but wont see my drives in diskutil and my usb mouse doesnt work as well- only the touchpad works...

Also, i dont think that the dvds are bad because ive been able to use a few of them in vmware...AND, I got osx86 almost fully working on my bros pc natively (just the internet doesnt work, but the comp dual-boots with XP (two seperate hdds) so i can run garage band off of there, but it would be nice to run on mine too =]

SO, the point of all of this is, is there some file that i can take from the Tiger dvds and put into the Leopard ones to make the IOAPIC error go away?

Thanks in Advance....
