superpimp
Hello I have done a clean install of Windows Vista and than created a partition for OS X. I read that you needed Acronis OS Selector, which I installed, but when I rebooted it said No OS Found and I couldn't repair it so I had to reformat again. I reformatted it again and when it was finished I started installing OS X (using iATKOS v5.5i). The install worked out fine, no errors. I got the message at the end: 'Install complete, shut down your computer and reboot.' I then rebooted and got the error: 'boot1:error'. I repaired vista and everything worked out fine. Now however when I want to boot OS X, it doesn't work. I added the OS X via EasyBCD 2.0. When I try to boot it I get the OS X loading screen but it stops working and there appears a 'forbidden' logo. (I took a picture, it's in attachement) I have tried just about everything, chain0, EasyBCD and Acronis, nothing works. I hope its not my laptop because I really want this to work. Thanks in advance to everyone who can help me. Synaesthesia
Okay, I managed to got it to work but my keyboard doesn't work.Install a PS/2 patch.Like Pcwiz's PS/2 patch, or the on in the install options. Otherwise, get a USB keyboard. And because I'm obligated to fill certain things in I can't continue, any tips?At that point, just push cmd-Q to quit and you can skip that step Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/157603-vista-os-x-leopard-1055-dual-boot-troubles/#findComment-1107522 Share on other sites
