gerardandre
Hi. I have always been a mac fan and i am going to build a hackintosh because of a challenge from a friend. In looking around I have noticed many hackintosh systems for the desktop would fit somewhere near the imacs in terms of power. I am looking for hackintosh projects that are closer to the macpro desktops; perhaps dual socket nehalem motherboards etc. if anyone could set me in the right direction that would be kool. thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/157525-outmac-a-mac-new-direction-for-hackintosh/ Share on other sites
ifrit05
Go here and look at the Hardware Compatibility List. (under hardware) http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page Basically any Gigabyte Motherboard is GREAT for hackintosh's. Just look at the componets and get a good idea of what you need.
