What software can I use to extend the size of the current OS X partition?

I installed it in a small 10gb just to try it but since it's working perfectly I'm going to extend it. I thought I could use Partition Magic in Windows to free some space.

But now, which program can I use to add that free space to my hfs partition?

Thanks

Fede

There are no Partition Managers that can handle PC Scheme, all partitions managers now are PPC apps only and even that they can run on OSX86 they can't handle the partition scheme, they only work with Mac partition Scheme.

Isnt there an open source Linux based Partition Magic like (in that it is like it but doesnt actualy destroy the partition) utility that allows nondestructive resizing of almost every File System to date (expect NTFS I think). Couldnt you just use that to resize the HFS+ partition?

umm...

http://www.gnu.org/software/parted/

Would that work? There are many front ends to the thing (for those who dont like doing the math) and there are plenty of live CDs that include it on them.

Did you actually bother to read the table and associated notes on that page? Parted can only shrink an HFS or HFS+ partition, and the starting point must stay the same. The person who started this thread is looking to make the partition larger, not smaller.
