demon16v
Hello, I have searched, found some with the same??, but haven't found an answer for this. I want to have a dual boot system with Win XP and OS X. I'm going to use the Msiwinosx86.iso to install OS X with a USB DVD drive. My question is, Is there a way to use some kind of GUI that I can use instead of Darwin as the bootloader? Could this be installed after the .iso install or does it have to be inserted to into the .iso first. I'm looking to make it easy for my wife to pick one or the other at start up. Maybe a picture of a Windows flag for XP and an Apple for OS X. Or something like that. If there is no way of doing this how can I increase the Darwin boot time from 5 sec to maybe 1 min?? kppk
Use BootIT NG It has a nice Gui. Make a 15 MB Fat12 or 16 partition to install BootIT NG into that partition. BootIT NG must be on the first HD Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/157226-daul-boot-with-gui/#findComment-1107471 Share on other sites
