kingfinn Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 Hey! I have made a great goal today: I managed a dualboot Kalyway/XP with Chameleon. Kalyway boots. Xp which is shown as "Windows NTFS foreign OS" doesn't boot. Theires just the Thing from the boot Loader and the last line is: : _ The "_" blinks but nothing happens... Anyone help pls! There is many ways to fix that but i would try to explain what i did when i have a similar problem 1 Boot with your windows install cd or dvd and fix the windows partition to make it bootable again 2 When windows is fully fuctional insert you OSX install dvd and install chamaleon again in the mac os partition and that should works and fix it other way to fix it is 1 Boot with your windows install cd or dvd and fix the windows partition to make it bootable again 2 Get CHAIN0 from the OSX Install DVD it should be at the root level 3 Copy CHAIN0 to c:\ on your windows drive now edit your boot.ini file and add this line c:\chain0="Mac OS X" and that should also work i hope this help regards Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/157187-xp-does-not-boot-in-chameleon/#findComment-1104592 Share on other sites More sharing options...
