veriton
I am using Jas 10.4.6 which I updated using the PPF1 patch available at demon.. I got the screen where it asks you to click on "Continue" ie; just after that blue screen..(First I got apple loading screen, then blue screen and this was the third screen) But even on clicking on "Continue" nothing happens. On the top left corner I cud see mouse pointer but my mouse didn't work.. There were other options on top like " Installer , File , Edit, Window etc" but I was not able to select any one.. Any idea why ??? ChiefWiggum
Veriton, I used the myzar version had a similar situation with my SATA drives. Blank installation targets as it couldnt find any harddisks. This was due to the missing AppleVIAATA.kext in the installation disk. You can try installing on a VMware image and editing the installation to load AppleVIAATA.kext. Copy this image into the HFS partition and you should be good to go. :-P Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15716-unable-to-start-installation-jas-1046-_-ppf1/#findComment-101671 Share on other sites
