I'm getting tired of this now. I have tried these distros:

Kalyway 10.5.2: Find no disk utility (only external drives and DVDdrive)

Leo4all v3: Find no disk utility (only external drives and DVDdrive)

Leo4all v2; Find no disk utility AT ALL

iDeneb 1.3: Find no disk utility AT ALL

iDeneb 1.4: Find no disk utility AT ALL

iATKOS 5i: Find no disk utility AT ALL

iPC 10.5.6: Sends me the message (in Darwin process): "Still waiting for root device"

I cannot install Leopard with any distros. No one find my SATA HDD.

What should I do?

My specs:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-8S661FXM-775, Intel celeron 2,66 GHz

Chipset: SiS 661FX

HDD: SATA 150HDD, 200 GB, (DiamondMax 10)

Grafic: ATI Radeon 9250, 256 MB

Sound: Sound Blaster, SB0220

RAM: 2x510 MB RAM (Crucial)

Unplug everything you don't need (pci cards, extra HD's), just leave the HD, video card and the dvd. Then into your bios deactivate sound, ethernet com/lpt/usb and any other thing like that. then try again. If you get the same error try connecting your hd to another sata connector. If you're still unlucky I would try different bios configurations. Before you do any of this stuff read carefully other posts related to your motherboard or chipset so you know what you're doing.

try to update your bios ... custom bios ...

go on this website http://www.osxcores.site50.net/

look for the exactly name of your motherboard. be careful do not try to install other bios or something that you maybe think it will work. you will end up with spare motherboard if you make any mistake. please be careful.

i managed to update my bios from that site and all distro work now.

take care.
