electrontau
So I was getting familiar with the OS X and saw a utility called System Profiler in Utilities folder. It shows that I have AMD processor with the correct frequency. But it show the number of cores as 1 !? It is a quad-processor! I makes me wonder if it is using all 4 cores. Could it be the reason why virtual Vista in VMWare is so slow? BTW, Activity Monitor shows 4 boxes (representing cores I guess) for CPU activity.
