fcollingwood
Hi all Having a few issues with installing iPC on a K9A2 CF based system. When booting from the CD, I hit F8, and I supply boot parameters of -v -f mach_kernel.voodoo. It goes through all of the verbose stuff, then the screen goes grey, with the spinning beachball in the top left corner (Moves with the mouse), and there it sits, forever. How do I get past this? My system: K9A2 CF Mobo 790X/SB600 chipset ALC888 Audio Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 8GB DDR2 800 RAM NVidia 8500GT (Asus EN8500GT) Drives IDE DVD Rom SATA HDD Input PS/2 Keyboard PS/2 Mouse Install media iPC_OSx86_10.5.6.iso patched in order from PPF1 to PPF5 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/157073-ipc-on-k9a2-cf/ Share on other sites
