joskus Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 Anyone have any advice on how to fix some minor video problems with my Macbook? I used Migration Assistant to move from my desktop Hackintosh rig to a nice unibody Macbook. Seems like just about everything is perfect - trackpad works great, sleep, all function buttons, etc. - but I have no QE and some light video tearing. I assume that somehow my video kexts were transferred over as well as my files. Any ideas on how to fix it? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ludacrisvp Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 Yes, it would have transfered your video kexts as well, I would download the graphics update from apple.com and manually install the kexts that are needed for the unibody mac. It will have also transfered any extra things like Appledecrypt.kext, and disabler.kext etc... in other words all the things needed to make your hack work.
