macjohn Posted March 10, 2009 Share Posted March 10, 2009 I've been trying to install 10.5.6 for a few days and have noticed many of the installation options (under chipset, video, audio, etc) either have 'install' or 'upgrade' next to them after I select them. Since I've had only one minimally successful install (no sound), I've been installing and reinstalling with different options. I was wondering, is there a difference between these two options? Like for chipset, I see ICH10 and select it but it says 'upgrade'. Does that mean I need to find something else that says 'install'? Or am I over analyzing this...
