Hi,

This is my first post.

Basically, when I connect to Remote Desktop on my Hackintosh 10.4.5(2.5ghz Cel-D, 1gb Ram), via RealVNC 4.1.1 Free (on Windo$e XP), It runs VERY, VERY Slowly.

This is a home network, my VNC client is on an XP-based laptop using 802.11b wireless, the Hackintosh is in a room, 15 feet away, connected via 14mb [Devolo] power-line homeplug.

I've used VNC previously on a Redhat Linux box (same room, fixed network connection, lesser spec box), and the lag was imperceptible. In fact, the lag on the Hackintosh VNC session is way worse than the lag I got accessing the Linux box over an SSH Tunnel from work, 35 miles away!!!

Any ideas? :(

P.S. The network connection appears to be in almost constant usage when I use the Hack's remote desktop.
