Wayland
So here is an interesting question, which I already think the answer is no... Are there any IDE Controller cards for both PC and Mac that will work? My guess is no... and it's no because of the interface with the bios... Any thoughts or ideas? munky
i know this is an old thread, but.... im planning to try this out very soon. i have a CMD 649U (or something like that) el cheapo PCI IDE card with two IDE channels on it. Hoping OSX will see the drives attached. If that doesnt work ill source some IDE to SATA converters off ebay EDIT: its apparently a Silicon Image device. I'm not holding out much hope for it working tho... I found this old info about IDE cards on Mac maybe gives some clue http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/OSX/osx_ide_cards.html Let us know how works your card.
