(strano, a meno tu non abbia un HD IDE). Allora non capisco il perchè (con HD IDE, l'aggiornamento sovrascrive IOATAFamily.kext e bisogna ripristinarlo, con alcuni chipset), ma è strano con HD SATA. Ovviamente non hai modificato la configurazione del bios? Riesci a postare una foto della schermata quando si blocca?
