display goes to sleep when idle?

My new hackintosh is working beautifully... but when i leave it idle (ie when I'm reading or away), the display goes to sleep. The computer itself doens't go to sleep, though, just the screen. It wouldn't be such a big problem if I could get it to wake up, though. I've had to shut the computer off every time. Does anyone know what I can do to remedy this? I'm not sure, but I think it may have just started after I installed voodoopower and voodoobattery. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
