Maniac10
Delete any video injector and try an EFI String. You can use OSX86Tools, EFIstudio or UInstaller. zabadok
Delete any video injector and try an EFI String. You can use OSX86Tools, EFIstudio or UInstaller. Hey, i deleted all the injectors using OSX86Tools, and reinstalled EFI using UInstaller and i enabled GL with OSX86tools. but no Quartz Extreme, i know i'm doing something wrong, so please correct me! when we talk about injectors i'll find them under /System/Library/Extensions. i manually deleted Darwin Kext (NVdarwin.kext and NVdarwin.kext.orig) and the others using OSX86Tools. Should i be doing something else? i maybe missed steps, so is there somekind of order to do it, like install, repair permissions, then restart... things like that? zabadok
try this one NVKush installer just installed NVkushInstaller.pkg then went to http://diabolik1605.com/plister and used the NVkush Info.plist generator. backed up my original and replaced info.plist i'm still not giving up! i've been trying other things too, i think there's somekind of sequence i must do! anyway, if all went south, i've made an Image of my OS by SuperDuper. i'm going to try to clean out my Extensions folder! i'll back it up first! then install NVKush. zabadok
i found this thread, little old, but i have a good feeling about it! http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...hp/t124271.html basically is says :- i delete those files... easy enough! NVDAResman.kext NVDANV50Hal.kext NVDANV40Hal.kext NVDANV30Hal.kext NVDANV20Hal.kext NVDANV10Hal.kext GeForce3GLDriver.bundle GeForce2MXGLDriver.bundle GeForceVADriver.bundle GeForceGA.plugin GeForceFXGLDriver.bundle GeForce8xxxGLDriver.bundle GeForce7xxxGLDriver.bundle GeForce.kext NVinject.kext Then install insanelymac NVIDIA INSTALLER V3.0 Beta Version BY PUNK92. When the installation finishes, don't reboot the pc yet. Add your device ID in /system/library/extensions/NVDAResman.kext/contents/info.plist Add your device ID in /system/library/extensions/NVDANV50Hal.kext/contents/info.plist Add your device ID in /system/library/extensions/NVinject.kext/contents/info.plist In the same plist (NVinject), set the NVCAP string correctly and replace the IOProbeScore number by 0. My XFX 8500GT 256mb has 1 DVI + 1 VGA + 1 TVOUT, so i set NVCAP with 04000000 00000100 0E000000 00000007 00000000 Now reboot the pc. my question, how to i add my device in /system/library/extensions/.... and how do i get my device ID sorry for my stupid question. can someone explain please!
