copperboy Posted March 9, 2009 Share Posted March 9, 2009 Don't delete anything if you are on 10.5.6, just modify the plist files. If you are on earlier version than 10.5.6, download the 9000 Serials drivers first. Then try the NVKush kext, you can find information here: http://diabolik1605.com/DHF/ Since your video card has 512MB memory, you have to change the "VRAM" part (inside NVKush.kext) with PlistEdit. If above information helped, will you please test your 9600GT with Xbench 1.3 and OpenGL Extensions Viewer's? And when things are well done, please post your benchmark scores as a return. Thank you! cj95 Posted March 9, 2009 Author Share Posted March 9, 2009 well if i don't delete all the GeForce** and NV** kexts the system will hang on boot after applying efi string. i tried NVKush.kext but it doesn't work , i get this error on start up: "The system extension "/System/Library/Extensions/NVKush.kext" was installed improperly and cannot used. PLease try reinstalling it, or contact the product's vendor for an update." that is , after i added my device id .
