poida_gtir
Hi I spent half of today trying to install Mac OS X. Each time i've been getting a little closer but am as far as i can get it without some help. My Problem Disk boots up perfect. Partioning works fine. Installation seems to work fine ( lthough i have noticed when the progress gets to "about one minute left" it stalls for upto 5 minutes). Get the success message and restart. Restarts fine get the welcome video and keyboard setup. Next the transfer existing info screen (see image 1) and click "do not transfer" and continue. it then hangs for a couple of minutes. Then i get the grey restart/shutdown screen and back to the welcome video. My System Dell Dimension 5150 Proccessor: Pentium 4 3.00 GHz (SSE3) Video: ATi X600 Sound: Creative Sound Blaster live HD: 250gb SATA Settings for Install Drive: Formatted 1 Partition Mac OS Extended (Journaled) - GUID Cutomize: Only setting ticked BOOT_efi_GUID Any info, tips, advice would be much appreciated. Thanks Pete
