What am I missing to get this working...???? Boot132 is all i need? from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...opic=113288(and grabbing the "Download .ISO Original with project kexts (all your need is here - noobs try this first):" link )?? Ive tried to choose the hardware based on the reports of what works well with a minimum of fuss, so hopefully it will be.... Synaesthesia
What am I missing to get this working...????Boot132 is all i need? from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...opic=113288(and grabbing the "Download .ISO Original with project kexts (all your need is here - noobs try this first):" link )?? Exactly!!Then follow these steps: #1 - Burn .iso on a CD; #2 - Boot this CD; #3 - When Darwin prompt appear, eject CD and put Mac OS X Leopard Retail DVD; #4 - Press enter (or -v and enter...wherever...) #5 - After install, boot using CD boot again and install .kext needed...and usual files. #6 - Done! Now the only trick is finding out which .kexts your motherboard uses. It should work without them, but you need it to enable sound, network etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/156475-have-my-ingredients-just-need-some-recipe-help/#findComment-1100873 Share on other sites
jdratlif
I've never tried boot-132. DVDs are slower than disk images, so that's what I used. However, you can probably run the post-patch.sh script from inside your install if you get boot-132 working. Probably could be run from any Mac boot disk, too (e.g. XxX 10.5.6). I'm not sure what boot-132 does with your kexts. If you need them, they are part of that package I posted in the other threads. leopard-install-kit.zip in the kext folder.
