nfs_boot_init failed; PANIC

Hi everybody (hi Dr. Nick!)

 

my problem is that no matter what distro or boot command i try it always hangs after the following (see pic attached)

 

so far have tried from best to worst: iPC_PPF5, iDeneb v4, Kalyway 10.5.2 intel_amd and leo4all

boot commands used: vanilla rd=disk0 -v -F as spedified in the guide for iPC.

 

i understand i'm supposed to cancle a feature called NIC but my bios is crippled.

 

plz help, will give as much info as required to solve this issue.

really want a mac, but before i buy want to test it for a few weeks and see how it goes.
